Big news for the Philippine Dive Industry: Aquaventure Whitetip Dive Supply is Now SSI
Aquaventure Whitetip Dive Supply (AWDS), the countryâs largest one-stop shop for everything scuba, is thrilled to announce that beginning November 1, 2025, it will officially become the SSI Service Center for the Philippines!
This marks an exciting new chapter for AWDS as it joins forces with Scuba Schools International (SSI) â the worldâs fastest-growing scuba training agency and a global leader in diver education. The move brings together two powerhouses under one vision: to make diving in the Philippines more accessible, connected, and inspiring than ever.
Heading the new SSI Philippines Team are Chung Kai âCKâ Teoh (Business Development Manager), George Wegmann (Service Center Manager), Chris Lee and Gordos âGordzâ Gojunco (Training Managers), alongside a talented multilingual support team based in Mactan, Cebu. Together, they will derive SSI’s growth and presence nationwide.

What makes this announcement even more exciting: with 10 AWDS branches across the country, each location will now serve as an SSI hubâoffering member support and SSI merchandise. Whether you are in Manila, Anilao, Puerto Galera, Alona in Bohol, Cebu, Mactan, Dumaguete, Coron, El Nido or Boracay, SSI is right where you dive!
The celebration kicks off with a Grand SSI Philippines Launch Party in Puerto Galera on November 10, featuring SSI Member Updates, onboarding events, and training workshops. From there, the SSI team will tour key dive destinations across the Philippines, bringing the SSI experience closer to divers and dive pros everywhere.
But thatâs just the beginningâexpect monthly webinars, SSI University vlogs, ongoing instructor programs, and nationwide events designed to elevate the Filipino dive community.
